In June 2011, he joined his father’s esteemed practice and has since dedicated himself to the field of ophthalmology at Luthra Vision Care, specializing as a Cataract Surgeon and Comprehensive Ophthalmologist.

Dr. Luthra’s primary expertise lies in Cataract Surgery, where he is known for embracing the latest technological advancements. His commitment to staying at the forefront of his field is demonstrated by his active participation in various National and International conferences, where he shares his experiences.

A trailblazer in his own right, Dr. Luthra was the first surgeon to introduce Zepto Assisted Cataract Surgery, showcasing live surgeries at annual state conferences. Additionally, he pioneered the use of Multi-focal/Trifocal/Toric Intraocular Lenses, being the first in Chhattisgarh to implant PANOPTIX, PANOPTIX TORIC, and TRIDIFF Intraocular Lenses.

Beyond his surgical prowess, Dr. Luthra serves as a comprehensive eye specialist, attending to a diverse range of eye patients. His dedication to continuous learning is evident through his regular participation in international conferences, such as ESCRCS and APACRS, where he is an active member.

With a rich experience in Medical-Retina, Dr. Luthra practices Retinal Lasers and Intra Vitreal Injections for various retinal pathologies. Notably, he incorporated the Non-mydriatic DRS Fundus camera into his practice, screening over 50 thousand eyes.

Dr. Luthra values the strong connection he shares with his patients and takes joy in listening to their needs. Outside of his professional life, he finds solace in listening to music and indulges his passion for travel.
